About Greenangle

Greenangle is a specialized consulting firm that focuses on facilitating renewable energy projects through brokering. Unlike traditional brokering, Greenangle’s expertise lies in projects that have a positive impact on the environment and promote sustainability.

The brokering process for renewable energy projects follows a similar path to conventional brokering but emphasizes the selection of initiatives that utilize renewable energy sources like solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal power. These projects are known for their lower environmental impact and greater sustainability compared to fossil fuel-based energy endeavors.

Beyond evaluating the feasibility of renewable energy projects, Greenangle takes into account their environmental and community implications. This entails assessing factors such as greenhouse gas emission reduction potential, impact on local ecosystems, and benefits for nearby communities.

Greenangle brokers work closely with partners to handpick projects that maximize their positive environmental impact and promote sustainability. This may involve incorporating innovative technologies and design elements to reduce energy consumption or minimize waste.

Additionally, Greenangle collaborates with investors to ensure their alignment with the project’s environmental and social objectives. This can include screening potential investors to ensure their commitment to sustainability and history of supporting sustainable investments.

With years of experience in large-scale renewable energy projects, Greenangle possesses a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, along with strong financial and strategic skills. By prioritizing projects that contribute positively to the environment and sustainability, Greenangle facilitates the development of significant renewable energy initiatives that effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable development.

Established in 2022 by Søren Ellemann Hansen, Chairman of the Green Angel Foundation, Greenangle has seen continuous growth and now boasts an increasing number of freelance consultants. As of the beginning of 2023, the firm had 15 signatories.

The inception of Greenangle was inspired by a longstanding connection with Kirk Heston and APG, established back in 2018 in the USA. The collaboration aimed to augment APG’s $22 billion executed, and Greenangle strives to accelerate the transition to renewable energy in line with this vision.
